GIZZ IS GOING TO DIE
Gizz Is Going to Die follows Gizz, a scrawny, cockfighting rooster who is killed in the ring and shuffled through several different afterlives trying to find the one where he truly belongs.
This film is a mixed media piece that uses photographs, live-action film, stop motion, and 2D animation. It explores the human idea of death and the afterlife, as well as the sense of belonging that all living things crave.
Meet The Directors
Peter Ditoro is a Storyboard Artist and Character Designer who was born and raised in Alabama. They graduated from SCAD Atlanta in 2023 with a B.F.A in Animation. They love playing TTRPGs, playing video games, and reading horror stories.
Celine Dupré is a Storytelling and Concept Development Artist for Animation who was born in Louisiana but grew up in Alabama. She graduated from SCAD Atlanta in 2023 with a B.F.A in Animation. Besides drawing, she enjoys playing video games, puzzles, and hanging out with friends.
